A Lifelong Appreciation of Nature

Capturing light, texture, time, and place

There is a certain slant of light – Dickenson

Light, shadow, shape, and form. Life anew in the spring, vibrant greens of summer, the glory of autumn’s changes, or the beauty of ice and decaying leaves in the winter. I have spent a lifetime outdoors inspecting large and small, landscapes to leaves, birds of all sizes.  Noticing that certain slant of light, the colors reflected in the morning sky, the texture of lichen, rock, or feathers. It all informs my work whether it’s playful, representative, or abstract.

I hope you enjoy my views on nature and the world, small and large, that I capture in my art and photography.
